Ok, so I'm doing a SAC for English and we are doing an advertising campaign for a made up or real product and just for the pure fact that my teacher and I both love Jane Austen, I am indulging her fantasy of a Darcy body pillow.
I know this sounds a bit off but I have a friend with anime body pillows and I thought, 'who wouldn't want to sleep with Darcy?' Obviously it wouldn't be the real Darcy - Colin Firth, Matthew McFadyen, Laurence Olivier or David Rintoul, whichever you prefer - but it would be as close as any Austen-obsessed or lonely girls could get to sleeping in the arms of a handsome man who depicts Regency England. I'm also toying with the idea of putting John Thornton (Richard Armitage, North and South) on the other side of the pillow, kind of a two in one.

It's my birthday in 90 days.
I'm turning 18.
It feels so weird that all of this has come up so quickly and I can't believe that I'm finishing high school this year, especially since I only started thinking about what to do after I finished high school in the last year.I'm still not sure what I want to do. There are options such as getting a job or going to uni or even taking a gap year, choosing whether or not to get into a course and defer until the next year or until I feel like I can withstand another 3-4 or more years back at school, learning and writing essays and going to classes.
This year has been interesting. While year 12 is more than halfway over, this year I have also done my deb (or debutante ball for those who don't know what it is). I dressed up in a puffy white dress, had my hair and make-up done at Alfedton Hair & Beauty (www.alfredtonhairandbeauty.net.au/) which was simply amazing so thank you again. The night was held at Novotel Forest Resort and it was simply amazing thanks to everyone there are especially my partner.
The rest of my year has been quite standard, school, homework, occassional outing. People at school keep saying "Only 16 weeks and everything will be over!". By everything, they are referring to school and exams which kind of scares me a little. What am I going to be doing in 16 weeks apart from sleeping in on a weekday? What am I going to do for the rest of my life?
These are questions that, hopefully, will answer themselves in some sort of way, but will decide a big partof my life. Anyone going through the same process, I feel for you, and for those who have yet to have the pleasure of being in year 12, you can have fun after high school.
I's better go as it's getting a bit late and I have a bit more homework to complete but I will hopefully update another post if it is wanted. Thanks for reading and giving me 5 minutes of your time. Now it's time to go back and scour the internet for what you were looking for in the first place.
